Love Poem #1 NPM

He said he loved me and I laughed.

“You can’t love me, you don’t know me.”

“But I love you. I’m in love with you.”

You don’t love me.

You can’t love me.

Me.

The broken creature crying out for help.

Because no one loves the broken things. They just get pushed to the side and thrown away.

  2. Hello lovely, I was hoping you’d show up to the party:) everyone is broken one way or another… And yet still fall in love. Ironically sometimes it’s the cracks that give the object of love both their loveableness and their disbelief. Pretty much, humans are weirdos…:)

  3. There are so many broken bits and things in every life, me thinks. we just have to get some strong glue and try and fix these and hold them up for our satisfaction. I love the way you write.
